I am sorry to see him finally go, but all good things must come to an end some time. He will always be remembered as the most successful manager in club history, at least so far anyway. That was a very touching send off yesterday and I only hope his successor will find as many victories as the General.
I don’t fault him for being down, we lost Shava, Pogrebnyak and maybe most importantly his long-time captain in Timo. We can replace him well enough on the field I feel, but replacing him as a person and leader is very difficult.
